The team flies to New Mexico. They wonder if the unsub has a control fantasy. David says the unsub is skilled with his hands. They wonder why they didn't find any babies. JJ suspects that the unsub has Christie's baby right now.

They arrive in New Mexico. Derek finds that all the victims had criminal records and used drugs. They figure that the unsub kept the mothers healthy and clean, got them pregnant, then took their babies.

David and JJ go to child adoption services and ask if they can identify baby's that belonged to a victim using DNA. JJ meets with the parents of the first victim named Monica. She asks if they can exhume and test Monica's DNA to match it to the state's adoption records. She explains that they suspect the killer is getting his victims pregnant then putting up the babies he doesn't like up for adoption. Later, they dig Monica up and take her umbilical cord. The ME tells Derek that the child should be 4 years old. Garcia says that the unsub might not place the babies in the adoption agency. She says that blonde hair blue eyed kids pay top dollar on the black market.

Hotch and David see that the unsub has a lot of anger issues. David says he heard that Hotch is in trouble.

Meawhile, a man brings a blonde drug addict to an alley. Another man abducts her. He tells the first man she is perfect then pays him.
