Kevin meets with Robert and learns another Republican named Henderson has entered the race. Kevin tells Robert to ignore the competition because it will make his opponent look more legitimate. Robert says he is concerned about Kitty and Kevin shared his concern.

Sarah and Saul discuss Ojai while Luc plays with the kids. Luc kicks a ball at their table and Sarah makes them take the game outside. Saul notices how Sarah's kids love Luc. Nora calls and tells Sarah about Kitty wanting to end her chemo. Sarah agrees to talk to Kitty.

Scotty takes his dad to his restaurant and asks what happened between him and his mother. Wally assures him it isn't Scotty's fault. Scotty then announces that they are trying to have a baby. Wally asks who's going to be the father, adding that he wants to be a grandfather.

Sarah looks over Kitty's alternative medicines and tells Kitty that she should continue with her chemotherapy. Kitty tells Sarah about another woman who cured her cancer with alternative medicine. Kitty thinks she has cancer due to her type A personality, but Sarah tells her that is ridiculous. Kitty asks Sarah to help her choose a dress for the benefit. Sarah says she will help if Kitty agrees to go back to her treatments.

Nora meets with her board to discuss the benefit, but is distracted. She goes out to get some air and a man named Simon follows her. He introduces himself and Nora tells him how much she hates cancer. He says he is an oncologist. Nora asks how he can handle dealing with cancer everyday. She tells him about Kitty. He asks her to go for a ride with him on his motorcycle. Simon tells Nora that most people consider quitting chemo at some point, but usually go back. He tells her not to be too worried. Nora tells him about her other children. Simon tells Nora he has no kids or wife, then the two head back to the meeting.
