Sarah returns home and relieves Nora from her babysitting duties. Nora tells her that she had to tell Paige about Kitty. Sarah tells Nora she was going to handle it, but Nora says she couldn't lie to them. Sarah says she now has to find a way to regain Paige's trust. Nora tells her to tell them the truth about Luc too. Sarah tells Nora she needs to let up.

Holly apologizes to David. She explains that she just found out she lost all her money in a scam. Holly wonders what she is going to do about Rebecca's wedding. David reminds her she still has Ojai. Holly says she only has company stocks and her house left.

Robert tells Kitty he used the political function as a cover to surprise her. She says he wishes she could just forget she had cancer. She tells him she doesn't want special treatment just because she has cancer. Fireworks then go off and the two laugh. The two reminisce, then Kitty tells him he can't get rid of her cancer. He asks what he can do, then suggests they go home and watch Evan sleep. Robert carries Kitty in the house and Nora asks if she is okay. Kitty says she is fine.

Kevin and Scotty argue about who has more control in the relationship. Scotty says he thinks the universe is presenting them with an opportunity to have a kid. Kevin then starts to lay out rules for letting Michelle be their surrogate.

The next morning, Kevin and Scotty arrive at Nora's and see she has become friends with Luc. Sarah and the kids arrive and Nora introduces them to Sarah's friend Luc. Kevin and Scotty tell Luc they made up.

Nora apologizes to Sarah, but Sarah insists she was the one who was wrong. Nora says she only knows how to worry. She says Luc is adorable and can stay there as long as he wants. Sarah tells Nora she handled Paige's concerns about Kitty perfectly. Sarah asks for advice on how to tell them about Luc. Nora tells her to wait until she knows what their relationship is before she tells the kids.

Paige and Cooper give Kitty a music box and she says she loves it. They hug and Cooper tells Kitty she doesn't look sick. Kitty says she doesn't feel sick. The rest of the family then walks in the room with breakfast and they all laugh.
