Kelly enters Harry's office. He puts on an Obama mask and asks if she wants to talk to the president about health care reform. She says she is working on senior evaluations. Harry sees that Kelly is upset. She says Silver moved out to live with her mom who has cancer. She asks him to have lunch with her because she needs someone to talk to. Harry calls Debbie and asks if they can reschedule their lunch because he is swamped with work.

Dixon asks Teddy and Liam if they should dress up as the Rat Pack for Halloween. Liam says he doesn't do Halloween. Dixon gets a call from Sasha who informs him she has a gig. She asks him to meet her, but he says he wants to go to a party. He explains he doesn't get a chance to hang out with his friends. Just before she takes another call, she tells him she will expect to see him at six since she thinks he sees his friends all the time.

While having lunch in the principal's office, Kelly tells Harry that Silver looks at her like she is a horrible person. Debbie walks in with a bagged lunch in hand. She says she thought she could just drop it off, but sees Harry does have time for lunch. Harry chases after Debbie as she walks out. She tells Harry they will talk at home.

West Beverly and another school called Sunset Hill show up for a surf competition. The coach says Liam and Ivy will be in the same heat while Dixon will sit out. He reminds the students that the winner of the competition will win the Billabong surfboard. As they surf, Liam cuts off Ivy. On the shore Ivy asks him what his problem is. Liam says he didn't see her. She says she gets he is trying to act like her in the parking lot. Liam says that is not what he meant.

Naomi and Adrianna ask Silver if she wants to go to the Halloween party, but she says she needs to finish an assignment. They tell her they think she bit off more than she can chew with her mom. She says she needs to take care of her mom.

At the beach, the announcers introduce the two final surfers competing to be the winner, Ivy and Liam. Ivy fakes a cramp which causes him to come to her aid. Ivy uses the distraction to ride a wave. Later, Ivy is declared the winner and awarded the surf board.

Dixon goes to Sasha's house and tells her he is not going to stay since their relationship is not working. He explains he wants to go out with the girl he is dating. She says she can't believe he is breaking up with her after he roped her back in to his life. She tells him to get out of her house.

Later at the Halloween party, Dixon confesses he has been secretly dating Sasha over the past few weeks. He explains that Sasha didn't want his friends to know about their relationship. Since Teddy is dressed as Dracula and Dixon is dressed as an NBA player, Dixon asks Liam if he is dressed as a farmer. Liam says he is not wearing a costume. Dixon says he is officially back in the dating game. A girl asks Liam if he is supposed to be Johnny Depp or a Jonas Brother. Dixon explains that Liam is a farm hand.

Naomi and Adrianna talk about how they should deal with Silver. Teddy overhears that Silver's mom has cancer. Ivy tells Liam she wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine. They decide to have a little competition. At the beach, Teddy announces that Ivy and Liam will have a suicide competition meaning the first one to wipe out loses. Ivy looks back at Liam and falls off her board.
