Lauren, the deeply depressed woman who tried to kill herself and her unborn baby, was played by 32 year old actress Megan Henning (thanks Ed J. for the confirmation) who also appeared on Grey's Anatomy as Willow, a environmentalist who was pushed off of a tree by a forestry company's bulldozer. Seth, the young cheating vampire, was played by Colin Ford who has a surprisingly extensive number of roles including as the younger version of Sam Winchester on CW's Supernatural.

Sunder, the Indian club foot patient who Callie and Alex treated during the flashback scenes, was played by England born Ravi Kapoor. Ravi is an accomplished actor who is best known as Dr. Mahesh 'Bug' from NBC's Crossing Jordan by Heroes creator Tim Kring. He also appeared as the young Dr. Chandra Suresh on NBC's Heroes and as Dr. Nayak on Fox's Fringe
