Bones and Angela visit a tarot card reader named Avalon (played by Cyndi Lauper) at the park. She tells Bones that she is going to save the life of a man with a heart of a lion. Angela figures that Bones is going to save Booth.

Booth has a therapy session with Sweets. Booth says he has't seen Bones since he got out of the hospital. When asked, Booth says he only misses his clothes from his alternate reality. Sweets tells Booth he is certified for duty and returns his badge and gun.

Back at the park, Angela tells Avalon that Bones read to Booth everyday while he was in a coma. She says when Booth woke up, he believed he and Bones had a whole different life together where they were married. Avalon draws another card and sees that Bones was pregnant in the alternate reality. Avalon says that Bones is at a turning point of her life.

Bones arrives work and the staff welcomes her back from her trip to Guatemala. She finds Booth sleeping on her couch. Booth tells her that Sweets cleared him for duty earlier that day.
