Serena and Gabriel hang out with Rufus and Lily. Gabriel tells them about his family. Lily invites Gabriel to a party the next night and he accepts. Rufus then suggests they all see a movie. Gabriel tells Serena that he has to take care of some things and leaves. Blair texts Serena and lets her know she is still interested in spying. Chuck sees Blair dressed in her spying outfit and asks who she is investigating. Blair tells him she is checking up on Serena's new boyfriend. They see Gabriel and hide. They then see that he is meeting with Poppy. Blair calls Serena and tells her what she saw. Blair tells Serena to dump Gabriel, but Serena tells her to butt out. Gabriel then walks in. He tells Serena that Poppy found out he was seeing her and she threatened to destroy him. Gabriel says he told Poppy it was over between him and Serena. Serena tells Gabriel that he is going to have to tell Poppy the truth. Gabriel asks Serena to give him one week so that he has time to sign the contracts for his new business venture and be free from his parents.

Blair tells Nate about what she saw. Nate is upset to hear she was with Chuck. Blair says she just ran into him. She then tells Nate that she is glad they don't keep secrets from each other.

Jenny sees Dan and Vanessa and they talk about the possibility of Rufus and Lily getting married. Vanessa tells Dan and Jenny to tell their dad they support him. Rufus then walks in and gets into an argument with someone on the phone. Rufus confesses to Vanessa that no one has made an offer on the gallery. He says his only choice now is to sell his work.

Serena tells Blair that Gabriel explained the situation to her and she trusts him. Blair insists that Serena dumps him. Serena then tells Blair that Gabriel told her he loved her ever since the night they first met. Blair reminds her that Georgina drugged her and she was unconscious that night.

Nate shows Chuck the new place he wants to rent. He says it is half way between his and Blair's schools. Nate says he just wants Chuck to see that he is really serious about Blair. Chuck tells Nate that it was no big deal that he and Blair hung out the other night. Chuck then gets a call from Blair and takes it outside. Blair tells Chuck that Serena won't listen to her. She asks him to help her expose Gabriel for what he is and Chuck agrees.

At Lily's party, Blair insists on giving Gabriel a tour of Serena's place. Chuck then walks in with Poppy and she yells at Gabriel for lying to her. She tells him to leave with her, otherwise she will call all her investors and tell them to take their money elsewhere. Gabriel tells Poppy he is in love with Serena. Poppy walks out and Gabriel follows. Blair tells Serena that at least now they know he really likes her.
