Nora arrives at Julia's and calls Kevin. Kevin says that he bought a toy pony for Elizabeth. Nora tells Kevin that she bought her a toy pony too. Nora arrives at Julia's house and sees that it is going to be foreclosed.

Kevin and Nora meet with Julia. Kevin looks at Julia's finances and learns that Tommy took out a second mortgage and funnelled all the money to try to take over Ojai. Nora tells Julia that she has to learn how to take care of her finances. Kevin tells Julia that before she gets help from the bank, she needs to get a job. Nora tells Julia that she will get her a tutoring job at the center. Julia says that her parents want her to move back home at Phoenix, but she doesn't want to go. Kevin tells Julia that he will do anything to help her out.

Sarah meets with Kitty and asks her if she is having an affair. Kitty says that at most she is having an emotional affair. Kitty says that she feels guilty because she is married and has a new baby. She says that Alec makes her feel pretty and funny. Sarah tells Kitty that feeling is a sign of the end of her marriage. Kitty asks Sarah if she should deny her feelings. Sarah tells Kitty to stop going to the park.

Kevin calls the bank and convinces them to stop the foreclosure on Julia's house. Scotty sees that Kevin is going to write a large check to save Julia from foreclosure. Kevin says that it is a loan. Scotty tells Kevin that he thinks he is desperate to hold on to Elizabeth.

At Ojai, Holly tells Sarah that she is angry that they pulled out of the trade association. She says that they were supposed to discuss the matter, then approach the board together. Holly tells Sarah that she has more influence on the board by being a Walker. Holly says that she knows that the board will always defer to Sarah.

Alec brings Kitty to the house and she loves it. She sees a porch swing and tells him that she can imagine sitting there. The realtor arrives and tells Alec about the status of the counter offer. Alec asks Kitty what she thinks and she says that the home is perfect.
